Ankermi

Ankermi is settled in a lush green environment with natural grown trees and planted tropical plants in the garden and rice fields. Some of the planted trees such as mangoes, banana, coconut and cashew nut could sometime supply the needs of Ankermi.

There are water lily ponds with tropical fresh water fishes.Electricity is available between 5.30 pm and 10.00 pm. Outside these hours, each bungalow is provided with its own paraffin lamp. The generator is housed some distance away from the bungalows, so the guests in house are not disturbed by any noise. 

There are six bungalows; five of them directly face the sea and a larger one overlooks the paddy fields. The cottages are a mixed construction of concrete and bamboo with the roofs being built from "alang-alang" grass.

There are double beds on the ground floor with mosquito netting. Every bungalow has a second storey where you can relax, read or enjoy the ocean view.

The rooms have good ventilation; there is always a breeze, so there is no need of a fan or A/C. During the dry season, temperatures can drop to 18 degrees Celsius at night. The floors are tiled. All bungalows have their own open air bathroom (with garden) with Indonesian style mandi and cold water shower.

Each Veranda are equipped with comfortable chairs and sofas to enjoy an interrupted panoramic view to the Maumere Bay.
