Newa Sumba Resort is built by the native West Sumba business man, the late Mr. Djakababa as part of his responsibility to his native home island of Sumba. The resort is approximately 100 hectares of flat land space on the beach of Newa with Sumba lowland forests.
The main concept is to use the lowest percentage of the land for resort buildings with the view to give more natural ambiance to the resort.

- Children sharing bed with parents: free of charge.
- 12 years old children and older will be charged as adult.
- 7 days prior to arrival: 25% of the room rate is charged.
- Less than one week: 50% of the room rate is charged.
- Arrival day: 100% of the room rates is charged.
- Arrival day, due to the cancelled or delayed flight: 25% of normal rate is charged.
