Place: Lamboya, West Sumba
Pasola is a riotous tournament between groups of hundreds of horse riders caring bundles of blunt spears to be thrown to hit the opponent.
Hundreds of horse riders and onlookers from different clans will participate in the Pasola Festival. The horse riders will be grouped in 2.
Each group by turn will run the horse as fast as possible towards the opponent group and throw the spears in hope to strike the opponent or their horse.
